How can acupuncture benefit you?
Acupuncture and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) can tremendously benefit your life! It promotes self healing, self awareness and inner strength, all while decreasing physical pain! Acupuncture taps into the body’s incredible desire and capacity to take care of and correct itself. Acupuncture is one of the most widely recognized and successful methods of treatment in the world. Its effectiveness in treating a wide variety of disorders has been clinically proven by many distinguished researchers. Not only is it safe, but it does not cause any toxic side effects which can be associated with other methods of traditional western medicine. It is a system that is individually tailored to your specific issues and needs. No two treatment protocols are the same because in Chinese medicine we take into account YOUR constitution, lifestyle, medical history, emotional state and personal goals. Conditions treated by acupuncture: According to the World Health Organization and from practical professional experience Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are effective in treating these common disorders:
“Diseases, symptoms or conditions for which acupuncture has been proved-through controlled trials-to be an effective treatment according to the World Health Organization:”

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is a complete and effective medical system that was developed over 3,000 years ago and still maintains it’s relevance in this modern world. The focus of holistic medicine and Acupuncture is to bring an unharmonious mind body and spirit back into balance and health. It is based on the theory of Qi which is the universal life force or vital energy. This energy travels along the meridians and channels and to all of the organs of the body which enables them to function. If the flow of energy is blocked, deficient or in excess then physical pain, emotional pain and illness can occur. Placing acupuncture needles in specific points on specific channels works to unblock and fix this imbalance. There are over 400 points on the body, including in the ear which when stimulated enable the body to begin to heal itself.
